5 ways to start your day… and stay connected while life is happening:)

I am a work in progress… always.. and some days are better than others. How about you?
One thing I see a lot in my clients and students, and something I have struggled with  in the past myself… is staying connected to spirit… being consistent with my spiritual practice. I have found that for myself,  that it is an absolute necessity even though for many years I felt like it was a choice. It’s not, not for me anyway. I soon discovered… that for me…
I NEED to stay connected…
BODY… MIND… and Spirit!!!
I do 5 things every morning that I know help my stay grounded, present, grateful, connected, open and in my heart.. Maybe they will help you too…
IMG_9739#1 – Meditation – This can be 5 minutes or 50 minutes. For me it is about taking the time to acknowledge, I am spirit first… and recognizing that each day… so that i can be tuned in to spirit – first. My life works much better when i am living from my heart than my head.
#2 – Invoke the Archangels – Specifically Archangel Michael.. to help me maintain my own energy so that I don’t take on the energy of others ( a bad habit) and/or the world. This helps me to keep myself focused on being the change i wish to see in the world instead of focusing on the things that aren’t working by absorbing others fears, worries and concerns. It is very unhealthy for me to get in that lower fear based vibration and Archangel Michael helps me be the observer… instead of the absorber. I also call in all the other Archangels for support as well. Working with the angels…. .and teaching about them.. has been life changing for me.
#3 – I am open and receptive to all that is for my highest good and I trust the process of the Universe – I repeat this to myself, sometimes out-loud, with my arms open wide to the Universe, until…
I feel open…
& I feel receptive..
and I feel trusting of the process!
I don’t stop until I FEEL it.
#4 – How may I serve? About 15 years ago I heard Wayne Dyer say that he did this everyone morning. I was inspired and began to adopt this practice as well. It has been an interesting journey to see how spirit puts me where I need to be to be of service. I am constantly amazed at the perfection the Universe provides when we open our hearts minds and souls. Even…
when
it
doesn’t
seem
perfect!
I do all of this in bed, before starting my day.. and as my feet hit the floor I say
ty#5 – Thank you!
For 16 years, i have been consistent with this practice… and for 16 years, I have been living the life of my dreams really.. Living my purpose, consciously and intentionally… Hmmmmm … I wonder if this practice has made that difference??
What do you think? Do you resonate with any of this? Do you practice any of these steps? I’d love to hear.. Please share in the comments below.

4 out of 5 every morning. I do set an intention to be of service daily but forgot to do #3, be open and receptive to all that is good. Thx for the reminder

  2. I do not assume they planned it in this manner, however it seemed to me that the message at the end is that you could function truly difficult
at this and it still will not work.

How you start your day sets the tone for the day! Setting your intentions and focusing on your goals each day from a heart space is important!

  3. Something to do when doing this is that you have probably already done this a thousand times andd didn’t think about it so goo tto
some sites and check it out its easy to do. If you hae been doing sso for
an extended period, yett are not being compensted accordingly, it
may be time to look for a different position, or to strile out on your own. This is the time to “cut the dead weight” and reduce “break even profit levels”.

If what you are doing is no longer working… Yes, it is time to look towards something new! Thank you for sharing!

  4. There is a phrase that you used every day and mentioned in your book, invoking the archangels… I need to look that up in my kindle unless it is one of these great suggestions. I ask michael and helping spirits to help me walk in beauty and help me bless the earth and myself.. need lots of help with this! and thank earth water air fire helping spirits, spirit of the land and hidden folk.. thank you for these additions!

  5. Thank you for sharing this, I am going to implement it myself…love the directions as they really seem to “speak” to me.
    Love & Light xx

  6. My 5 or so daily practices, generally consist of:
    – journaling my dreams which often takes upward to an hour;
    – get some insight about what they really may be about
    – connect with my spirit crew (angels, archangels, Ascended Masters, Loved ones, Animal/Nature Guides, celestial/galactic/pleidian beings)
    – connect with Metatron, AA Michael and others to bring all my energies and hormones into harmony
    – when I am driving, I ask that they bubble wrap my car
    – recently I have added that my aura and all aspects of me be surrounded by 7 colorful Ray’s of the AA in my own bubble so that what I am feeling is my own… I am picking up on especially my Dad’s medical stuff and it took me awhile to realize it wasn’t mine.
    – Somewhere during the day, I do self energy work and send it out
    – Gratitude at night’s end just before I go to sleep

  7. Soooo, I’m participating in a weight-loss program for the first time in decades because I felt ready and because I felt I might be successful. One of the biggest takeaways for me was shifting my mindset about exercise. Often the excuse for not exercising is time – not enough of it to include exercise in my day. However, when I switch to identifying exercise as a priority, then the choice is not about time but about what is important to me. I switched from thinking I don’t have time to declaring exercise is a priority for me. This will be the same strategy I employ to begin incorporating thankfulness and openness into my days. Thank you for sharing your daily practice with me. Your guidance helps me to be deliberate and mindful to choose priorities and not excuses. Have a wonderful day.

  8. Thank you for sharing Sunny. I was introduced to you (by Spirit:) when you were guest on Colette Baron Reid’s show. I enjoy your work. I do # 1,2,4 & 5 and now will incorporate #3 into it. Blessings ❤️

  9. Love it Sunny! I start my day by putting my hands together in front of me and then kissing my hands and raising them above me and say thank you for this day ….everyday since seeing the movie the Master Shift. It sets the intention for the day. It has really helped with keeping things in perspective. Love all your tips. Thank you!

  10. YES! I practice each of these daily. I have had a long standing practice of asking how may I be of maximum service. The practice that shifted me is when I adopted the practice of involving AA Michael and claiming being open and receptive to all of life’s good.(direct result of your sharing these tools) You also shared a technique of envisioning yourself a plug, plugging into an outlet.( meditation does this too) That visual is helpful when I experience fear. It is quick and simple to get back in a flow. Meditation anchors it in.
Another practice I have included is a forgiveness prayer.
As you have imparted. Consistency makes all the difference. Another is to bless others I cross paths with intentionally. Blessings!

    1. Beautiful. Yes, i love the plugging in myself 🙂 it is very helpful. Thanks for sharing some of your tops too Ellen.

  11. I have #1, #2 and #4 on a daily basis, but will begin #3 and #5 tomorrow am! Thank you Sunny for this!

  12. A wonderful way to begin each day, and thank you for all I have learned from you and others along my way. It really is important to begin with being grateful and happy and feeling safe and protected, and so it is. Many before us have taught us about the strength of going within, and to ask so we can be open to receiving. Thank you, Sunny!
