April 22nd 2016 Scorpio Full Moon

The moonlight dances above, reflecting her beauty upon us. Shining her brilliant light into the darkness, casting a shadow, inviting us to go deeper into our emotional being. An opportunity to release the past, creating space for new possibilities to emerge. Layers are revealing themselves to you, shifting, releasing, opening. Simply rest back in light of truth and trust in the call, allowing the tender guidance of the moon to remind you……you do not need permission to shine your own brilliant light.
The Full Moon of April is also known as the Full Pink Moon. This moon is connected to the time of spring, pink reflecting the softness of a beautiful flower sprouting to meet the earth. Some also refer to this moon as the Fish Moon, Sprouting Grass moon, or the Egg moon. Can you feel the shift in energy from the season of winter moving us in to springtime? Let this time remind you of the possibilities in every moment, a new season arriving and the seeds of potential sprouting.
Tips for The April 2016 Scorpio Full Moon:
During this time, you may notice multiple threads that have settled within the subconscious mind becoming illuminated. Bringing your attention to what motivates you, all your desires, what drives you, or what you long for. A time of hope and latent aspirations moving their way to the surface of your awareness. If you have stifled your growth, surrendered to fear, or put your dreams on the back burner, now is the perfect time for them to emerge once again. For some it will be to release what is holding space for something more brilliant to arrive, others the divine timing to complete a project. There is an intensity to this process and it can be magnificent, if you choose the channel the energy in a positive way. Remain a neutral observer, allow the emotion and energy to flow through you and you will be guided to the next place to bring your attention. There is lots of potential with this creative energy, use it to your advantage, and at the same time do not get to caught up in the movement of it all. Detach from what is ready to leave and let it go with trust in your spirit that it was not meant for you to cling to…. something better is trying to make its way into your life experience. This full moon invites you to let go of control, so you may receive more then you could have ever dreamed up on your own~
Ways You Can Connect to This Full Moon:
1. Find out when the moon rise is in your city by going here: http://www.timeanddate.com/moon/ then at a time when the full moon is visible from your area go outside.
2. Sit in silence (preferably under the light of the moon if you can), breathing deeply. Feel your self settling in and connecting with the earth. Imagine now, a beautiful silver light directing your attention, gently surrounding you. Feel, see, or sense it now, strengthening its pulse with a beautiful and safe harmony that is tied to your breath. With each breath in and out feel the silver light cleansing and clearing your energy field. Imagine that you are receiving the wisdom from the moon, allow her to help you move out old stagnant energy, as she begins to fill you up with beautiful potential and creative energy. Breathe into the knowing that all is moving in harmony with the ebb and flow of this moment.
3. Thank the moon and know that you have initiated a change regardless of the experience.
4. Pay attention to how you feel and what comes up for you over the next couple of days, consider journaling to help release and let go of anything that is moving out of your life.
**Reminder: Each full moon will impact you for up to 3 days prior to the full moon and 3 days after the full moon. Full moons are always powerful times for releasing and letting go. Try creating your own ceremony or honoring of this time to embrace the energy that this time has to help you create space in your life for what you truly desire. As always remember, you are not alone in experiencing this phase, be mindful of this when encountering others over these next few days. Send them love as they are also shining a light on themselves and may be extra sensitive during this time. The next full moon is in Sagittarius on May 21st, it is known as the Flower Moon. – Melissa Corter
