I like to know what to be mindful of. If you are like me you would rather have an awareness of the energy coming in ahead of time… SO… Here is some great info for this months FULL MOON – Enjoy – SDJ ♥

February 10th Full Moon (Lunar Eclipse) in Leo

February’s full moon asks us to dig deep, and shine brightly. The moon reflects our emotional side back to us; and this month it will be an invitation to discover deep needs. Tune into your body and notice if you have a harmony with the moon; if so it is possible for you to avoid the internal tug of war occurring for some of us. This is intensified where resistance is present, this resistance comes in the form of ignoring the natural rhythm of the moon, the seasons, and how it affects moods, emotions and the physical body. A lunar eclipse is more powerful than the full moon, magnifying the effects and roles the moon’s energy plays in your personal experience.
This eclipse in the sign of Leo ignites and amplifies the energy around creative self-expression and romantic relationships. We may feel deep passions emerging, or a desire to be seen and heard. It is safe to put your heart first, infuse your hobbies, activities, and connections with love and passion. The lunar eclipse may have us examining where we feel forced to let go, or if we are the ones calling the shots. Although the full moon is a time of release and completion, make conscious choices in releasing, not from a mental state of rejecting or cutting things out because of heightened emotions at the time.
February’s Full Moon is also known as the Full Snow Moon since the heaviest snow usually falls during this month, native tribes of the north and east most often called February’s full Moon the Full Snow Moon. Some tribes also referred to this Moon as the Full Hunger Moon, since harsh weather conditions in their areas made hunting very difficult.

You may feel a push and pull type of energy, most full moons can create feelings of internal conflict; even if this presents itself to you, there is opportunity to experience an evolution of emotional intelligence during this eclipse. It is will support you in upgrading your spiritual growth to a new level.  Utilize the powerful eclipse energy to reveal the deepest layers that stand between you and the person you are being called into becoming. It is time to allow the heart to rule and the ego to learn its place. This can challenge you when the ego wants you to believe you are separate from the whole, and Leo energy can make things personal really quick.
Do not dim your light, yet do not try to outshine others from the ego mindset, do your thing, with love, passion, and trust. What makes you feel the most empowered and on purpose? Hone in during this time, giving it your attention while utilizing creative outlets to further your expression and connection. Commit to your light, the side of you that is ready to thrive, love, and be loved. Eclipses are supercharged versions of the moon, they can illuminate areas of opportunity to let go, yet do not let get caught up in the emotion.
Focus on a target in the form of creativity, passion, or expression, then make it your mission to dedicate energy to that, releasing the distractions of others who are also trying to find and express their own light. Have compassion if they seem to get stuck in the pushing and pulling energy, become a witness and send them love. This is most likely your role and your purpose of the interaction if you get lost in analyzing why you are around the “drama”.

“All the “not readies,” all the “I need time,” are understandable, but only for a short while. The truth is that there is never a “completely ready,” there is never a really “right time.” As with any descent to the unconscious, there comes a time when one simply hopes for the best, pinches one’s nose, and jumps into the abyss.

Tips for February 10th Lunar Eclipse (Full Moon) in Leo:

Get your hands in the clay of life! Create, express, have fun, and show up as a loving person. Amplify your light in the form of love and compassion. Be brave and honor your boundaries, yet do not necessarily declare those boundaries or create new ones until the eclipse energy settles. Hold the boundary in your mind and heart, yet be mindful of how it expressed. Release with loving care.
If you begin to struggle with the inner emotional turmoil, find ways to hear the “ego” and give it space to speak, yet redirect the heart energy into your experiences. Your spirit knows the truth, but your ego wants you to identify with objects or roles. The ego is only wanting to keep you safe and from harm, although it is fighting an irrational battle, not one of truth. The illusion of separation and lack can dissolve once you acknowledge some fears and then shift back to the truthful knowing of the spirit. A new year has brought forward new ways of being, even with ourselves.

  1. This was very helpful and gives me insight. I read and then followed each step. It is amazing when you sit quietly and listen. Thank you. Suzi

  2. Thank you for this helpful information, as the moon has always had an impact upon me, which may have a great deal to do with my birth sign, too. I also have read the Farmers Almanac for many years due to my love of nature, and being introduced to it by relatives, who used information over generations as they farmed. Sure is an interesting time, and I appreciate you sharing your wisdom to assist us all in benefiting from this special time.
